Founding Subscribers' Bonus Episode
On schools that won't make your children either 1) trans, or 2) p*rnsick
In this week’s bonus episode, my husband and I respond to a question from Martin:
In the recent pod you discuss schools and the degree to which they might get/be captured. I had thought that a nonvulgarized montessori approach would be inherently resistant to gender ideology (and more broadly, the pathologising and medicalising of normal human behaviour/desires), but as Louise points out it is often progressives who are sending their kids there. Being anti-screen is a good start though. Most parents I know are against it and simply hoping they can steer clear of it. But it only takes one person’s relative to decide they’re trans, and within a month the school is a hostage. Any thoughts on this? Particularly in the UK where it’s way less common to homeschool etc. We also can’t afford it realistically, so at this point we might just send them to work on Caleb’s farm. The most uncaptured place imaginable...
