The information about the psyops is chilling. Also, I’m wondering if the commenter here who says that the point of the atrocity is to provoke violence, may mean the action is defensible. Congratulations on the WSJ gig! This is an excellent chance to get your ideas and writing out to a wider audience. I hope that we will still be able to read your writing on your Substack, and not have to subscribe to WSJ to access it? If necessary I will hold my nose and do it…

"When you log on, time runs differently, the body slips away..."

I think this explains a lot of our trans confusion. Male and female is very theoretical when you're purely online.

The internet like any technology is subject to energy and resource constraints. The further into the collapse of industrial civilisation we go (due to declining fossil fuels reserves), the less available the internet becomes.

I'm so conflicted on the issue of "controlled spontaneity". I get that people don't like being psy-opped, but the truth is that outpourings of anger (and in cases where the perpetrator is nonwhite, of racial prejudice) are exactly the reaction that terrorists want. I don't want to give the terrorists what they want, and I hate them more than I hate my own government.

WSJ clearly have great judgement. Do I need a WSJ subscription to read your column?

That is a dim question. Bit early for me. Of course I need a sub. WSJ currently have an offer on £2 month for 12 months....
