more to the topic of the podcast, I would have wished for more reflections on the teenage girls and young men who experience gender dysphoria, the reasons behind that escalating trend and how to best support them.

Loved this episode (and the entire podcast). Only found your vision of motherhood and work towards the end a bit limited to the UK experience (where mothers of young children for a long time worked much less than other women, or men). In the Nordic countries women, and also mothers of small children, have for decades become increasingly prominent in political life. The current Finnish government of Sanna Marin has a majority of female ministers https://valtioneuvosto.fi/en/marin/ministers and 4 of them had a first or second child as a minister, and was away for a round a year or so on parental leaves, also at least one male minister went on paternity leave. So I am a bit more optimistic regarding the "how active can mothers be in politics / activism" part, although of course there are huge country and class differences globally.
